Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Meredith Lancaster joined the team in 2024 and brings a strong passion for emergency and critical care as well as internal medicine. She finds the most satisfaction in helping her patients feel better and building meaningful connections with the families who love them.
Dr. Lancaster earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Colgate University in 2013 before going on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Maine Veterinary Medical Association.
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Lancaster’s love of animals guided her path into veterinary medicine. Before becoming a veterinarian, she volunteered with animal shelters, worked at a horseback riding barn as a working student, and gained experience in a veterinary clinic.
At home, she shares her life with her partner, Zach (also a veterinarian), their son Leo, and their three pets — two dogs, Elle and Maverick, and a cat named Rigatoni. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Lancaster is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful care to every patient she sees.
