Yarmouth Veterinary Center is a
Full-Service Animal Hospital
For the past 25 years, our Yarmouth Veterinary Center has provided exceptional and compassionate veterinarian services to all of our patients and clients. Founders Dr. Louise LeBoeuf and Dr. Peter Smith first opened our animal hospital in 1986 from their own home, setting up a small hospital in their shed and an x-ray machine in their living room.
A number of years later, our hospital moved out of their home to accommodate a growing practice. Dr. LeBouef and Dr. Smith also opened a grooming salon and boarding kennel across the street from the new hospital location. Our current center opened in the summer of 2000, on the very same site as the original grooming salon and boarding kennel. Over the years, our center has cared for patients not only from the Yarmouth area, but also from Cumberland, Brunswick, Portland, Falmouth, and Freeport areas. Our staff has also grown from two veterinarians to five veterinarians, in order for us to accommodate more patients while still delivering comprehensive services.
Veterinary Care and Pet Boarding
Our entire staff of Yarmouth veterinarians is dedicated to providing the quality service and care to every patient that comes through our animal hospital, including dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, ferrets, rabbits, and more. We are also available to make veterinary house calls when needed. Our veterinarian services include preventative care, diagnostics, emergency care, surgery and dentistry. We also provide behavioral and nutritional consultations. In addition, we offer a FREE first exam and 50% off any spay
ing or neutering services for cats and dogs that have been recently adopted from a humane society or rescue organization.
In addition to our animal hospital services, we provide and pet boarding services. Nail trimming, routine dog baths and cat clips and comb-outs are available. Because of our complete dedication to your pet's well-being, our center also features an on-site pharmacy and stocks a wide variety of pet supplies, including the full line of veterinarian-recommended Hill's Science Diet and Prescription Diet pet food. Training, cleaning, and grooming supplies; flea and tick medication; dental health products; and heartworm and pain management medication are also available for purchase at our veterinary center and through our online pharmacy.
